Stand for Our Sound
The Stand for Our Sound Awards, hosted by Communities for a Healthy Bay (CHB), brings together neighbors, advocates, and community leaders to celebrate environmental progress across Tacoma and the South Sound.
Each year, Stand for Our Sound shines a spotlight on local changemakers — from emerging youth leaders to lifelong advocates — who are advancing cleaner waterways, healthier neighborhoods, and climate resilience.
This year’s honorees include individuals working across sectors of policy, business, and community service to protect the environment we all share. Together, their efforts demonstrate that standing for our Sound means protecting our air, restoring our land, and safeguarding the waters that connect us.
Guests will enjoy a lively evening featuring award presentations, inspiring stories, appetizers, and opportunities to connect with others passionate about environmental action.

Tickets: $25. Free parking on campus.
