Staxx Brothers with My Wildest Dreams Live at the Treehouse Cafe — Saturday April 18
The Staxx Brothers are a high voltage hit machine that has been a staple of the Seattle music scene since the turn of the century. Led by founder and frontman Davin Michael Stedman, the group has built a catalog of acclaimed recordings while playing live shows that defy both logic and gravity. They have collaborated with legends like Bernie Worrell, Sly & Robbie, and Dr. Fink, and have opened for some of the greatest funk bands on the planet.
Joining them is My Wildest Dreams, Stedman's solo project backed by a tight band of all-stars. Since 2015, Stedman has traveled the world recording with artists as diverse as Sly & Robbie, Dr. Fink (The Revolution), Geno Lenardo (Filter), and Eric Struthers (Neville Brothers). My Wildest Dreams features Anthony Brock on drums, Zach Michaud on guitar, and Jacob Doss on bass.
