Downpilot are a rare breed of artist who truly understands the chemistry in writing songs whose elements fit without being forced, and to not pigeonhole their artistic ability into one particular sound or style. - E A R P O L L U T I O NPerhaps better known to music fans in Europe than here in Seattle, Downpilot has released several critically lauded albums on Tapete Records of Germany, where most of the touring is concentrated so local shows are infrequent and not to be missed.Most of the live band (Jefferson Brown, Anne Marie Ruljancich, Rebecca Young, and Michael Musburger) are also known as the SMASH concert house band, as well as leading the BeatleConcert All-Stars at the last Childrens Hostpital benefit show, SMooCH.Tonights show celebrates the release of Downpilots sixth LP, The Forecast.
