Local Appreciation Day
Pike Place Market is thanking those who shop at local businesses, eat local foods, and support our Market community every week, every month, and every year. Market shoppers will enjoy live music and a special shopping offer as a thank you from us.
As a part of the Local Appreciation Day festivities, Market shoppers are in for a treat with live busker music that promises to add an extra layer of vibrancy to the atmosphere.
One of the highlights of Local Appreciation Day is the Special Shopping Offer available to those who spend $50 or more at any Pike Place Market business. In return for their support, shoppers will receive a limited-edition Pike Place Market Mug, a cherished keepsake to commemorate the day. Additionally, locals who present their Washington State ID will receive the Pike Place Market Local Coupon Book, packed with exclusive coupons from various Market businesses – a thank you gesture that extends beyond the day’s festivities.
For those making multiple stops at various Market businesses, combined receipts totaling $50 or more are accepted. Shoppers are encouraged to return their receipts to the “Event Information” tent by 4:00pm on January 27 to claim these exclusive thank you gifts.
This event serves as the perfect introduction to our month-long Local Celebration in February. As a teaser for the coming month, Pike Place Market will host a month-long celebration in February dedicated exclusively to locals. The Market promises exciting activations and chances to win major prizes all month long.
