Kickin' It Indi-City An Indigenous Soccer Celebration


Kickin' It Indi-City is a free, two-day community celebration presented by Native Action Network, coinciding with the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Seattle. Across four downtown venues on Coast Salish lands, Native artists, performers, educators, and youth welcome World Cup attendees, international visitors, and the local community through Indigenous art, food, music, and storytelling — using soccer as a bridge for cultural exchange and connection. At a Glance Dates: July 2 and 3, 2026 Times: 11:00 am to 8:00 pm Cost: Free and open to the public Location: Four venues in Belltown and along Seattle's waterfront — NAN Office (55 Bell St), Bell Harbor Rooftop Patio (Pier 66), and Pier 62/58 July 2nd 2026: Native Action Network 55 Bell St Seattle, WA 98119 Bell Harbor Conference Center 2211 Alaskan Wy, Seattle, WA 98121 July 3rd 2026: Pier 58 1401 Alaskan Way, Seattle, WA 98101 Pier 62 1951 Alaskan Way, Seattle, WA 98101 Audience: World Cup attendees, international visitors, local community, Native youth and families What to Expect • Indigenous food, including a traditional salmon bake, fusion food trucks, and Native-owned bakeries. • A marketplace featuring 30+ Native artists and entrepreneurs — jewelry, carvings, ceramics, fashion, and World Cup–themed prints. • Live music and performances: powwow drums, intertribal dance, flute, contemporary bands, and Native hip-hop. • Hands-on cultural workshops in beadwork, weaving, language, and storytelling led by Elders and artists. • Panels and talks on Native athletes, soccer in tribal communities, treaty rights, and Seattle's Native history. • Youth-led programming including art stations, a storytelling photo booth, and civic engagement activities.
