Cure your winter blues with an evening of live jazz performances under the stars curated by Floating, an organization that creates programs that explore the harmony between soundscape and landscape. Their goal is to inspire deeper interdependence among local communities, cultures, and environments.
Noel Brass Jr. is a composer, keyboardist, educator working in Seattle's thriving musical landscape. Influenced by early sci-fi soundtracks, film noir, improvisation, his synth-lush explorations are dystopian yet hopeful.
Brooklyn-based trombonist Kalia Vandever is known for her sonorous tone and lyrical improvisational voice. She approaches her instrument distinctively, allowing patience and melody to guide her process.
Audio designer, composer, and sound artist Jonathan Warman is nationally recognized for his innovative sound art and generative music installations. Currently composing his first AAA game title, he’s bringing his meditative melodies to the park.
Shooby Doo Catering will be serving snacks and drinks.
