Mourning Sickness Vol. 2 – Sister Act [In-Person Only]
EGOT extraordinaire Whoopi Goldberg (The Color Purple, Theodore Rex) stars as our leading lady, the ultra-glamorous Reno nightclub singer Deloris Van Cartier. After bearing witness to a violent act (MURDER!) – Deloris finds herself on the lam in an attempt to avoid meeting the same fate. The feds stash her away in the peace and safety of a convent (CHURCH!) where she must learn to blend in among a sisterhood of eccentric nuns. Put in charge of the convent’s choir, Deloris quickly warms to her new environment and finds novel ways to apply her life lessons from Reno casinos. This joyful and hilarious Mourning Sickness Spring Musical is ready to hit some high notes of high camp!
