To Kill a Wolf
Director Kelsey Taylor will join us in person for a post-screening Q&A. Raised in Cashmere, Washington, and recognized for her breakout sci-fi short Alien: Specimen, Taylor brings a bold, empathetic lens to her feature debut, To Kill a Wolf.
She describes the film’s tone as “a book of Grimm’s fairy tales found in a seedy roadside motel”—a haunting blend of mystique and emotional truth. “My goal is to understand the incomprehensible,” she says. “To find empathy and compassion in the darkest of places. This story is an amalgamation of many people’s truths—not just my own.”
