MoPOP National Hip-Hop History Month Event
• MoPOP is celebrating National Hip-hop History Month with discounted museum admission that includes community events, art activations from DJ demos to graffiti techniques, movie screenings, dance, and more!
• Additionally, MoPOP will be presenting the Hometown Hero Award to celebrate a champion of the local Seattle hip-hop community.
• Besides these special activities, check out the Contact High: A Visual History of Hip-Hop and My Mic Sounds Nice: Hip-Hop Feminism in History exhibitions for firsthand exposure to the evolution of hip-hop.
