Celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with a rare opportunity to view historic documents central to the founding of the United States. Featured items include the original engraving of the Declaration of Independence (1823), the secret printing of the U.S. Constitution in draft form (1787), the Treaty of Paris, and the Bill of Rights, among others.
Seattle is the only Pacific Northwest viewing opportunity and marks the final 18-day stop on this cross-country national tour before the rarely seen documents return to the National Archives’ vaults. The Freedom Plane National Tour is inspired by the historic Freedom Train tours from the nation’s bicentennial celebration which brought foundational American documents via train to communities across the country.
Starting June 1, MOHAI members receive early access to free reserved timed-entry tickets and guaranteed admission. Free public tickets – which include entry to the full museum – are available beginning June 15 https://mohai.org
