Tacoma's 1st Annual Halloween Parade Brings Freaky Fun to the McKinley Hill District on Saturday, October 19th!
The event is free to attend and promises to be a spooktacular experience for all ages.
Street Fair: 2:00 PM - 9:00 PM The festivities begin in the afternoon with an ALL-AGES spooky street fair along McKinley Ave, between E 34th Street and E Morton St. We're curating a one-of-a-kind Halloween shopping atmosphere, so be prepared to shop ‘til you drop with local vendors, enjoy delicious food and get involved with our community booths! The fair will also feature a stage with performances by local artists and entertainers, adding to the Halloween vibes. Whether you're craving a creepy treat or looking for the perfect costume, this event has you covered.
Costume Contest: Swing by the “Mr. Funny Bones” photo op to enter the official THP Costume Contest between 3:00 PM and 5:30 PM. Choose your entry category, from scariest to cutest, couples to most creative and more! Our contest photog will take your picture and assign your entry number. Our Eerie Emcee will call the winners at the stage at 6:00 PM!
Parade: 6:30 PM As night falls, the real fun begins with the first-ever Tacoma Halloween Parade! Watch as ghouls, goblins, and costumed revelers march through the streets in a spectacle that will light up the McKinley Hill District. Families, friends, and fans of all things spooky are invited to join the crowd and celebrate the community’s creativity and Halloween spirit.
