Celebrate Community at the Annual Manchester Festival – August 2nd!
Mark your calendars and bring your family and friends — the Annual Manchester Festival is back and better than ever! Join us on Saturday, August 2nd, from 10 AM to 4 PM at the beautiful Qaqad Stormwater Park in downtown Manchester for a day filled with fun, flavor, and community spirit.
Now in its 39th year, this beloved summer tradition, hosted by the Manchester Community Association, is a celebration of all things local. Since its humble beginnings — before farmer’s markets and neighborhood fairs were common — the festival has brought neighbors and friends together to enjoy the talents and creativity of our area’s artisans, musicians, and makers.
🎨 Shop Local: With over 25 vendors, you’ll find artisans offering wonderfully handcrafted items such as yard art, homemade clothing and accessories, photography, paintings, sea glass jewelry, fabric purses and much more! It’s the perfect place to support local businesses and find something truly special.
🎶 Live Music All Day: Enjoy a vibrant lineup of live music performed by local artists throughout the day. Every hour, a new individual or group will take the stage to share their unique brand of music. Seating will be available, so you can relax and enjoy the performances for an extended period of time
🌠Food & Fun: Come hungry! We’ll be serving up grilled hotdogs with chips and a beverage, perfect for a picnic in the park. Kids can enjoy a range of fun activities, and there may even be a few surprises in store!
🚌 Easy Access: Off-site parking is available at the Manchester Community Church on Chester, with a free shuttle running all day to and from the festival site. It’s easy to get here and enjoy the festivities.
Since 2015, Qaqad Stormwater Park has been the festival’s home — a fitting venue for a celebration that brings beauty, community, and creativity together in one place.
Whether you’ve been coming for decades or are planning your first visit, the Annual Manchester Festival is a chance to connect with neighbors, discover something new, and experience the heart of Manchester.
