    Teen Takeover: Power in Words is the Holocaust Center for Humanity’s inaugural teen-centered Free First Thursday event! Held on Thursday, August 1st, from 4:00-7:00 pm, Teen Takeover features a carefully curated list of activities and snacks, including professionally guided art-making workshops and an exclusive pop-up exhibit. The theme– Power in Words– highlights the importance of press during times of danger. With newspaper-inspired print-making and collage-making (led by Teaching Artist Lily Love Smith, @paperspacecollage), August’s Teen Takeover invites teens to embrace their creative side! Note: Teen Takeover is designed for high-school aged youth between 13-19 years old, but entry is open to all ages. By attending Teen Takeover, the teen of every parent or legal guardian grants the Holocaust Center for Humanity permission to photograph, record, or otherwise capture their teen’s image in the event and use it for non-commercial purposes. Cost: FREE! RSVPs are encouraged to stay updated with the Holocaust Center.
