Two on Two: Stephanie Syjuco and Anida Yoeu Ali in Conversation
The conversation will focus on two anchor pieces from their concurrent Seattle exhibitions, Syjuco’s at the Frye and Ali’s at the Seattle Asian Art Museum. Moderated by Curatorial Assistant Alexis L. Silva, the artists will investigate overlapping approaches to storytelling, ownership of those stories, and local/transnational community building through various forms of disruption.
