By the Book: Readings Inspired by Lotus L. Kang
Inspired by a selection of written works that informed Lotus L. Kang's exhibition at the Frye, enjoy readings and conversation with four local authors—Lauren Davis, Stacy Flood, Monica West, and Diana Xin—as they reflect on the connections between Kang’s work, her selections, and their own writing practices. Come early and jumpstart your own creative writing practice in the galleries with prompts developed by the participating authors. Pencils, paper, and prompts will be provided to encourage reflection, observation, and responsive writing inspired by the exhibition.
