Bar Stories Live Onstage

Some of the best stories are told from a Bar Stool. And we want to hear yours! Have a story you always tell a new stranger or old friend? We want to hear it! Have a story people always ask you to retell? We want to hear it! Have a story you'd like to one day tell on a stage, but it's not quite stageworthy yet (or maybe ever)? We want to hear it! Your stories, whatever they may be, are what makes you you...and we want to hear them! Bar Stories Live on Stage is your chance to stand (or, more appropriately, sit) in front of an audience and tell that story you’ve been sharing for years…or something that’s brand new! All stories, in all their forms and various stages of creation, are welcome! They don’t have to be polished, they don’t have to be complete, they don’t have to have a beginning, middle, and end, a moral, or even a lesson learned. If it happened to you and it’s a story you tell, it’s a story we want to hear! And best of all, they can be about any topic you’d like…seriously, you pick the topic, you guide the show! It can be just an anecdote, or a romp, it doesn’t need to have an established beginning, middle, and end. It doesn’t even need to have a moral! Workshop an idea you’ve been thinking of, or just share a fun little anecdote that might not otherwise have a chance to see a storytelling stage. We welcome it all! Local storyteller and frequent barstool inhabitant, Nick Vega will serve as host, and will sit on stage with you, playing the role of that guy you say “lemme tell you a story” to, whether that be an old friend or a new stranger!
