Join us for an intimate and thought-provoking conversation with Ingrid Hu Dahl, author of Sun Shining on Morning Snow, and Wyatt Starosta, an expert in human-centered design research. Both speakers bring personal and professional insight into what it means to grow up mixed-race, navigate identity, and find belonging in a world that often asks us to choose one side of ourselves.
Together, they will also honor the incredible influence of their mothers, their first teachers in resilience and love, while reflecting on the profound grief of losing them. Through storytelling and shared experiences, they will explore how loss shapes us, and how we can carry forward the wisdom of those we’ve lost while forging our own paths.
This conversation is an invitation to embrace the complexity of identity, honor grief as a part of growth, and choose to live boldly in our truth.
