01/31/2025 08:00 PM 02/01/2025 12:00 AM America/Boise Masquerade XV at the Century Ballroom Now in its 15th year, this evening of partner dancing and top-drawer entertainment features the 12-piece Joy Street Orchestra, Rockin’ Rafe Wadleigh, chanteuse Dina Blade, blues harpist J.D. Hagopian and songbird Lucia Neare—plus the surprises of Cabaret d'Artiste. A full 3.5 hours of Swing, Blues, R & B, Foxtrot, Rock ‘n roll, Latin, West Coast Swing, Pop and Waltz. Only rule: No mask, no admission. Some $5 masks available at the door. Masks may be removed at the official unmasking (though many choose to remain in dis-guise throughout). Intermezzo performances by top regional artists – anything from circus acts to opera to burlesque to dance – occur at 8:00 and during band breaks. Singl...
