Ghost Dog is a master hitman who lives by a strict samurai code. Having pledged his loyalty to a small time mobster who saved his life, he suddenly finds himself targeted by his master's colleagues. Now, he must defend his life and keep his honor by hunting those who wish him dead. Forest Whitaker is in top form in the lead role, with music by The Rza adding to the mood of this New York crime tale from Jim Jarmusch.
