Downtown Movies in the Park
Downtown Movies in the Park has been one of the featured special events within the City of Bellevue for more than a decade. The event takes place at Bellevue’s beautiful Downtown Park, located right in the heart of downtown Bellevue. The event features live music, vendors, games, and free popcorn leading up to the start of the movie. The featured movie is displayed on a giant 40-foot inflatable screen. This annual movie series runs six consecutive Tuesday evenings throughout July and August. Every movie features a local non-profit organization, which will have a presence at the event to promote their mission.
This summer’s schedule is as follows:
July 16 – Moana (Pacific Islander Night)
July 23 – DC League of SuperPets (Pet Day)
July 30 – The Mighty Ducks (Sports Night)
August 6 – Back to the Future III (80’s Night)
August 13 – Harry Potter (Harry Potter Night)
August 20 – High School Musical (Back to School Night)
The Downtown Movies in the Park is focused on providing summer fun for families, youth, teens, and adults as well as those who live, work, and play in and around downtown Bellevue. The event partners with many organizations throughout Bellevue and the greater Seattle area to provide a first-class special event for our community.
The Downtown Movies in the Park series is a Bellevue Parks & Community Services event in partnership with Viome, Charles Schwab, and Amazon.
In the event of rain, excessive smoke, or excessive heat, movies will be canceled.
