Chocolate: Film and Culture Festival 2026

Fun events, special film screenings, educational programs, and a whole lot of chocolate! :) Starting Thursday, March 5th, 2026, at 7pm PST, visit the Slavonian Hall (2306 North 30th, Tacoma, WA) for the "Tacoma: Chocolate Candy Capital of the World" discussion with Michael Sullivan, Tacoma's Storyteller who brings history alive every day! Then, on Saturday, March 7th, 2026, from 11am to 2:30pm PST, take the "Tacoma Chocolate Bus Tour" for only $55 per person. Visit Old Town Delights, Johnson's Candy Company, Encocoa, Brown & Haley, and Puyallup Chocolates with guide Chris Staudinger of Pretty Gritty Tours to taste, discover and enjoy Tacoma's sweet side! Starting Tuesday, March 10th, 2026, at The Grand Cinema (606 Fawcett Ave, Tacoma, WA 98402), experience a Chocolate Exhibit in the lower lobby and watch two films: "Chocolate Road" at 5:30pm PST and "Peace by Chocolate" at 7:30pm. At the Blue Mouse Theater (2611 North Proctor St, Tacoma, WA 98407) on Wednesday, March 11th, 2026, enjoy a reception at 5pm and two amazing films: "Like Water for Chocolate," which starts at 5:30pm, and "A Little Box of Sweets," which starts at 7:30pm PST. From there, head over to the new beautiful Asia Pacific Cultural Center (4851 South Tacoma Way, Tacoma, WA 98409) on Friday, March 13th, 2026, for a reception at 5pm, the film "Julia!" starting at 5:30pm PST, and "Adam" starting at 7pm PST. All films are only $10 each, or get all 10 films, all the other free events, and the Global Chocolate Academy for only $100 as part of the VIP Golden Ticket Festival Pass! Engage in interactive talks, chocolate sampling, cool presentations and other fun activities on Saturday, March 14th, 2026, from 8:30am to 2pm PST, at Asia Pacific Cultural Center during the Global Chocolate Academy ($30 per person, or included with the festival pass).
