Join us on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, for a unique opportunity to try some of Pike Place Market's best restaurants and raise funds to support health care and outreach for thousands of people a year at our Pike Place Market clinic, and through our Housing Health Outreach and Street Outreach Teams. Neighborcare is proud to serve the Pike Place Market community in collaboration with the Pike Place Market Foundation by providing this local event in one of Seattle’s most iconic neighborhoods to benefit those who live in and around the Market community. Feast at the Market is a one-of-a-kind culinary experience through the Pike Place Market neighborhood. Attendees will be introduced to irresistible flavors cooked by local all-star chefs and drinks from local brewers, distillers, and vintners. Join us after the event at Neighborcare’s Pike Place Market clinic for dessert and a chance to meet Neighborcare staff. About Neighborcare Health at Pike Place Market: Neighborcare Health at Pike Place Market is part of the organization’s network of 30 clinics, mostly in Seattle. Neighborcare’s clinics provide medical, mental, and dental health care to our community, regardless of an individual’s ability to pay. Neighborcare Health has long been the leading provider of comprehensive primary health care to low-income and uninsured people throughout the city, and a staunch advocate for equity in health care. The Pike Place Market Clinic, Youth Clinic, Street Outreach and Housing Health Outreach teams served over 3,100 people in the downtown area in 2023. Through these programs, care teams provided nearly 17,000 medical and mental health care visits. Last year, 31% of patients were experiencing homelessness or recently experienced homelessness and nearly 80% were living at or below the federal poverty line.
