The Nutcracker Suite performed by Roosevelt Jazz
Roosevelt Jazz is proud to present Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn’s The Nutcracker Suite, a fanciful and swinging take on the Tchaikovsky ballet. This special Seattle holiday tradition is returning for its 24th year. Proceeds support Roosevelt Jazz.
Roosevelt Jazz is a nationally acclaimed public high school jazz band. It is a repeat finalist at Essentially Ellington jazz competition, and has performed at Earshot Jazz Festival and Starbucks Hot Java Cool Jazz, which showcases young jazz musicians.
