Jazz on a Friday afternoon with the Luca Stine Quartet
On April 5, headlining at Jazz at Two for the first time is former Jazz Club scholarship winner, Luca Stine. Luca has achieved great recognition; 3rd place in the final round of the International Trumpet Guild’s International Jazz Trumpet Competition, winning a Young Arts award in Jazz Composition, performing at the Newport Jazz Festival and touring internationally. Concert from 2 - 4 pm at the Unitarian Universalist Church 3975 Fruitville Rd, Sarasota. Joining Luca are a trio of top are musicians, bassist Michael Ross, Walt Hubbard, drums and Phil Magallanes, guitar. Admission $15-$20 at the door.
