Jazz at Two with Kitt Moran and the Mike Moran Trio
Before relocating from New Jersey to North Port, FL, Kitt and Mike Moran performed in top jazz clubs in NJ and NYC including Michael's Pub, the Village Vanguard, The Blue Note, Gregory’s, Gulliver's, Trumpets and Shanghai Jazz; also Bally’s, Las Vegas and a number of Atlantic City casinos. Kitt entertained at Resorts Hotel Casino for eight years. While there, she performed for, sung with and been accompanied by an impressive list of stars: Burt Bacharach, Michelle LeGrand, Vic Damone, Rosemary Clooney, Jack Sheldon Frankie Randall, Buddy Greco, Johnny Hartman and of course, Merv, himself. Kitt has recorded with Ron Carter, John Pizzarelli, Harry Allen, Jay Leonhard, Toots Theilemans and arrangers Don Sebesky and Charles Calello, among others. Enjoy an afternoon of music from the American Songbook and some familiar jazz standards. Concert 2 - 4 pm, pay at the door $15 -$20. Jazz Club members can bring a friend for free.
