Friday afternoon jazz features big band jazz with the Rodney Rojas Jazz Ensemble
The finale in the Jazz at Two series on May 3, features big band jazz with the Rodney Rojas Ensemble. Enjoy jazz standards, blues, bossa and favorites from the American Songbook from Rojas’s 10 piece band featuring many of the area’s best musicians, Pete BarenBregge, Dave DeWitt, Don Parker, “STretch” Bruyn and Greg Caputo, among others. Concert from 2 - 4 pm at the Unitarian Universalist Church 3975 Fruitville Rd, Sarasota. Admission $15-$20 at the door. A special perk for JC members - bring a friend for free.
