2024 Dick Vitale Gala
The V Foundation for Cancer Research and ESPN Hall of Famer Dick Vitale will host the 19th annual Dick Vitale Gala May 3, 2024 at the Ritz Carlton, 1111 Ritz Carlton Drive, Sarasota. The usually sparkly, star-studded gala is the crown-jewel of Dick Vitale’s fundraising efforts for pediatric cancer research. The evening will begin with a “Celebrity Meet and Greet Pre-Party” at 6 p.m., followed by dinner. This year’s honorees are New York Yankees Hall of Famer, Derek Jeter; 4-times NASCAR champion and Hall of Famer, Jeff Gordon; and Tennessee University Men’s Basketball Coach, Rick Barnes. Recipient of the John Saunders Courage Award, (posthumously) is 2-times Gold Medalist and WNBA Hall of Famer Nikki McCray. The Dick Vitale Spirit Award recipient is former Buffalo Bills QB and Hall of Famer, Jim Kelly.
Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available. Individual tickets are $1,000; sponsorship opportunities start at $5,000. Various sponsorships will include invitations to a private reception at the Vitale’s residence on Saturday, May 4.
