The book they have published is an anthology of stories written by seven first-time authors, everything from hilarious childhood mishaps to poignant moments of love, loss and resilience. The book will be released at a launch party at Senior Friendship Centers on June 19th at 5 pm. The class instructor, Jason Cannon, says it is a 180-page book, with seven contributing authors: Janice Boring, Valerie DiLorenzo, Silvia Flores, Maria Corazon Gaffar, Carol Hochberg, Art Mahoney and Debby Vento Russek.
