Project Pride's Grand Carnival In Bloom
Project Pride SRQ will kick off Pride Month in grand style, as the community is invited to enjoy an enchanting evening filled with flowers, a fantastic DJ spinning today's hits, cool country performances, and delightful surprises. Dive Bar Wine & Spirits will be on-site to craft specialty cocktails that will elevate the experience, and some of Sarasota's finest restaurants will tantalize guests’ taste buds with lite bites and desserts. Event chair is Donna Koffman. The Grand Carnival takes place on Saturday, June 1, 8-11 p.m. at the Sailor Circus Arena (2075 Bahia Vista St., Sarasota). Early bird tickets, which include open bar, lite bites and entertainment, are available through the end of March for $100/VIP (enables early entry at 7 p.m.), $65/general admission. On April 1, ticket prices increase to $125/VIP, $85/general admission. Door price is $150, subject to availability. Proceeds benefit Project Pride’s programs and events, which aim to celebrate and unite Sarasota’s diverse community by providing social connections and by supporting Sarasota’s LGBTQ+ people, businesses and organizations.
