First prize winners in the Illinois Bell Young Performers Competition, they performed live with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra on PBS and went on to win the National Foundation for the Arts Award, leading to their appointment as Presidential Scholars in the Arts. Artist Series Concerts: Aznavoorian Sisters Ani Aznavoorian, cello and Marta Aznavoorian, piano Tuesday, January 7, 2025 • 7:30 pm First Congregational United Church of Christ, 1031 S Euclid Avenue, Sarasota, FL 34237 Virtuoso performers of Armenian and classical repertoire, Ani and Marta Aznavoorian made their first public performance at the ages of 4 and 8.
