3rd Annual "Witches On The Water"
"Kayaking Gals" is a 531-member private Kayaking FB Group, started May 17, 2017, by Debi Graham-Schroeder, for women with paddle experience in Charlotte and Sarasota Counties.
Our 3rd Annual Halloween Paddle (weather permitting) is scheduled for Saturday, October 19, 2024.
In costumes and decorated "Broom Yaks" the Witches will fly out of Bill Coy Preserve at 10:30am paddling north.
We hope spectators will watch from boats, homes along Placida and the Bay as we fly by, cross the channel to the beautiful "Palm Island Resort" Beach at Stump Pass arriving approximately at 12:30pm.
Where we will Invade the beach for a quick break to stretch, walk and have photos taken, then returning to our launch.
After our paddle , we will head to "ARTURS", in costume for Bewitching Luncheon Celebration.
