Registration ($45) is required at ArtsAdvocates.org, plus an additional $10 paid to instructor on day of class.
This workshop with Cosette Kosiba is for anyone interested in pastels, whether for the first time or with previous experience. Learn about different types of surfaces that pastels can be applied onto, paper preparation, layering of color, mark making, and how to protect your finished piece.
Materials: Please bring either a table easel or standing easel if you have one. Bring drawing paper, photo reference, baby wipes, an old towel, scissors, inexpensive paint brushes, plastic table cover, paper towels, and a few plastic containers.
Instructor will provide pre-cut pieces of Uart sand paper, backing board, artist's tape, tracing paper, and a variety of soft pastels. There will be a still life set up for those who prefer not to work from a photo.
