Handbuilding/Sculpture, Beginning/Intermediate (Prior clay experience required)
Students begin to work with handbuilding techniques in clay such as coils, slabs, punch, molds, and textures. Intermediate students will fine-tune techniques for creating pottery and sculptural work. This class will explore many methods, emphasize design, and encourage creativity.
Class includes up to 25 lbs. of clay. Additional clay is available for purchase. There is an upcharge for porcelain clay. All clay and glazes mut be provided by ACE (no outside clay or glazes allowed).
ACE is a teaching pottery studio, not a production studio. The firing schedule and quantities are controlled by the Lab Technician.
