ACE - Poetry Bootcamp
If you love poetry, come and enjoy reading (and a little writing) with a group of people who love it too. We'll talk about what makes a poem memorable, read poems by some of your favorite poets, and introduce you to some new poets who may become your new favorites! The class includes some easy writing exercises, and we'll talk about the mechanics of poems such as line breaks, imagery, rhythm, and word choice. Enjoy recordings of poets, such as former Poet Laureate Billy Collins, reading their work!
