ACE – ONLINE: Florida Trees & Palms
In the first part of this course we learn about the importance and functions of trees and palms, the laws that protect them in Florida, the anatomy of trees and palms, the reasons why they fail in storms, how to select good quality plants, how to install and establish them so they succeed, how to select the right maintenance equipment, and how to property prune trees and palms. In the second part we discuss specific trees and palms including mangroves. Please have note-taking materials available and there will be a small break for lunch.
