ACE – Guitar, Beginning Part 2
In this class basic guitar music theory will be added, as well as how to use BARRE chords in songs. You will learn and practice transposing to different keys using a very simple method. We will cover some standard rhythm patterns and some finger-picking techniques for various music styles. You will learn how to play with a partner. And we will learn how to use a capo. Please bring a notebook, a six-string guitar, a pick, a capo. Most importantly, bring your insatiable desire to learn and commitment to practice! In this course, cutting edge Neuro-Linguistic techniques are added that will enhance your learning, memorization, retention and recall information. Prerequisite: You should understand the guitar neck up to the 5th fret and how to play the major and minor chords in the first position.
