ACE - German II-Beginner
This course is the continuation of German I. It is also suitable for learners who already speak a little German. Participants should be able to introduce themselves and others and ask people who they are and where they come from. They also should be able to communicate about their family, profession, countries, and nationalities. They know the numbers and can talk about their hobbies. Ideally, participants are able to express likes and dislikes. They should be able to discuss topics regarding the work environment in the office and at the university and talk about what they do in their leisure time.
Candidates have good knowledge of the direct and indirect articles. They should be able to pose open and closed questions and apply the W-question words. They should be able to apply the negation. Students will learn to communicate in simple everyday situations and personal interactions, such as: • Travelling and booking a hotel • Out and about: finding your way in a German city • Transportation • Asking for directions and giving directions • Learning the time Your native German teacher will train you in all four language skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing). You will also be introduced to various aspects of the German culture. In an interactive way, you learn useful grammar structures and will be able to apply the fundamentals necessary to build your own sentences.
