ACE - Digital Photography 1: The Basics-North Port
The main goal in this class is for you to understand your camera and advance from using Auto Mode to Shutter Priority, Aperture Priority and eventually prepare you for Manual Mode in Digital Photography 2 Class. You will learn ISO, aperture and shutter functions of your camera as well as Depth of Field, exposure compensation and more. Other topics include understanding and using the camera metering system to achieve properly lit images. This class will be both in the classroom and hands-on in the field. There will be regular assignments as well as constructive critiques during class. Please bring your camera, a charged battery or two, memory cards and your camera’s manual. If you are thinking of purchasing any equipment, you may want to wait for this class to start and I’ll give you money saving tips on where and what kind of equipment to purchase, including off camera flash units for your cameras.
