Beadweaving is a fun and rewarding hobby. If you can use a needle and thread you can sew beads together to create beautiful, one of a kind jewelry and accessories. There are a host of stitches used in making jewelry.
The first of these stitches are Peyote. Many of the Native American jewelry uses the Peyote stitch. Peyote stitch can be used in both a flat even or odd count use of beads or to make a tube. Once you learn one or both of these stitches you will be on your way to catching the beadweaving fever.
Please bring the following to class if you own them: flat nose pliers, round nose pliers, thread burner.
