Al Fuller Live Music
Al Fuller is a Sarasota-based musician who performs frequently at nearby Jiggs Landing in Bradenton, both as a solo act and with his band, the Moonlight Movers. He is a guitarist and vocalist known for playing blues, rock and roll, R&B, soul, and country.
About Al Fuller:
Background: Raised in Massachusetts, Fuller learned piano from his mother and guitar at age 12. He has been performing internationally and locally for over 40 years.
Musical style: Fuller's performances range from fluid, soulful guitar work to hard-hitting blues, folk tunes, and rock and roll.
Current band: The Al Fuller and the Moonlight Movers trio includes Barry Sikes on bass and Rich MacDonald on drums.
Regular venues: He often performs at local spots in Bradenton and Sarasota, such as Mattison's.
Other projects: He has also performed as a trio called Suitcase Full of Blues with Jimmie Fadden from the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.
