Southwest Florida Council, Scouting America Announces, "Bourbon & Bowties" Fundraising Event for the Sarasota-Bradenton Region
SARASOTA-BRADENTON, Fla. — August 5, 2026 — The Southwest Florida Council, Scouting America invites community members, bourbon enthusiasts, and supporters from across the Sarasota-Bradenton region to attend Bourbon & Bowties, an evening of premium bourbon tastings, hors d'oeuvres, and fundraising on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at Anna Maria Oyster Bar – UTC, located at 5405 University Parkway, Unit 110, Bradenton, FL 34201.
The event will feature tastings of premium bourbons, complimentary hors d'oeuvres, a Wheelbarrow of Whiskey Auction, silent auction packages, and a contest recognizing the evening's best bowtie. Proceeds from the event will directly support the programs and mission of the Southwest Florida Council, Scouting America, helping deliver character-building, leadership development, and outdoor adventure opportunities to youth throughout the Sarasota-Bradenton region.
Community leaders, business professionals, bourbon enthusiasts, and supporters are encouraged to attend and help strengthen the impact of Scouting programs across the Sarasota-Bradenton region while enjoying an evening of fellowship, networking, and friendly competition.
