Expressions of the Valley: Poetry & Art Contest and Showcase
Expressions of The Valley: Poetry & Art Contest, hosted by Scotts Valley Recreation & the Scotts Valley Arts Commission is excited to announce this year's theme: “Explore.”
We invite students and adults from the Scotts Valley and San Lorenzo Valley communities to showcase their creativity in our Poetry & Art Contest! Participants can compete in poetry and art categories across different age groups: Grades 1-3, Grades 4-5, Middle School, High School and Adults.
One winner will be selected from each age group for both poetry and art. All entries will be displayed at the Poetry and Art Showcase in May; where winners will have the chance to present their art or read their poems. Poems will be published in a printed collection, with one winning artwork chosen as the cover design!
Poetry submissions are accepted via Google Form, and art submissions dropped off at Recreation office at Skypark.
