Member Reception: The Curious World of Seaweed
Members are invited to a special preview and opening reception for our newest exhibit, The Curious World of Seaweed. This exhibition will feature captivating color “portraits” of seaweed that are inspired by Josie Iselin’s book of the same name. The event promises to be an exciting opportunity to mingle with fellow Members while enjoying a glass of wine and light refreshments.
We are thrilled to start the new year with this new exhibit, which will showcase how seaweed plays a vital role as the base of the food chain. The exhibition also examines how these sophisticated marine plants keep our planet opulently rich in life. You will also discover stories highlighting Indigenous peoples’ and women’s connections to seaweed.
