This month, kids of all ages will enjoy
Valentine’s fun with “Hearts & Chocolate on the Farm.” We will have Valentine-themed
crafts and activities, story time, Kid’s Drive-a-Tractor, hay wagon rides around the
fairgrounds and so much more! And in the case of inclement weather, we’ll move the
festivities inside our spacious Codiga Center & Museum building.
The Agricultural History Project’s 2nd Saturday events are like taking a step back in time! In
addition to all the winter-themed special activities, you’ll be able to milk a “cow”, drive a
tractor and learn about the history of agriculture in the Pajaro Valley while visiting the
many museum exhibits. Bring your lunch and enjoy a picnic on the lawn or at our picnic
Admission is free and donations are gladly accepted.

ABOUT AGRICULTURAL HISTORY PROJECT: Non-profit organization. School groups and families
from Santa Cruz County spend hours exploring our educational exhibits, historical archives, and
the agriculture research in the Codiga Center & Museum. When you visit, be sure to stop by our
charming gift shop “Country Corner!”
We are located at the entrance to Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds in Watsonville, California. As
you discover the rich agricultural history of Santa Cruz, Monterey and Pajaro Valley, you will
learn about the crops, people, artifacts and farming practices that have made the Central Coast
of California what it is today
