Free Paper Shred Event
Join us for our annual paper shred event! In the City of Santa Cruz, shredded paper is not accepted in the curbside blue cart. Take advantage of this community event to clear out papers that you have been meaning to shred. The paper will be securely shredded on site and recycled by a third party company called Stericycle.
This event will take place on Saturday, May 4th 2024 from 9am - 1pm. Location is 809 Center street on the corner of Chestnut and Church Street. No registration required, City staff and volunteers will be on site to help. Please limit material to no more than 5 banker boxes. City of Santa Cruz residents only.
