Painting Flowers: A One Day Workshop with Toaa Dallo
Flowers are lovely to look at and fun to paint — from bouquets and blossoms to poppy fields and super blooms. Nearly every artist paints flowers, and it’s a great way to build your skills. In this fun one-day session we will take on this popular and rewarding subject for art, and explore it together.
This class is for everyone — from beginners who want help getting started, to experienced artists looking to refine their work. Flowers offer great lessons in color mixing and blending, light source and contrast, edges and shapes. you will learn about key concepts of painting, including composition, brushwork techniques, style and storytelling — with an emphasis on fun.
You can use acrylics, oils, watercolors, pastels, pencils — whatever you like. Toaa will have still life floral arrangements and lots of interesting images for you to choose from, and you can also bring your own.
Toaa will demonstrate and explain methods and techniques for the group, and everyone will also receive individual attention and guidance.
