Paint Like the Masters: Bouguereau’s “Young Shepherdess” - with Toaa Dallo
“Young Shepherdess” is a gorgeous painting by the great French artist William-Adolphe Bouguereau. It has a magical quality that draws you in and keeps you fascinated. It’s a great lesson in methods and techniques, and we’re going to have lots of fun exploring it, and painting it, together.
Learning from the work of the great masters is a time-honored tradition, and creating your own version of their wonderful paintings is one of the best ways to develop and refine your skills.
Toaa Dallo has years of experience doing painting demonstrations for groups, and he will be guiding you with step-by-step instructions. A pre-marked canvas is included and will help you to get off to a quick start. Toaa will explain all the methods and techniques, showing you how everything works and keeping you on track. You will also receive individual attention and guidance.
You can use acrylics, oils, watercolors, pastels — whatever you like. Toaa can provide oils and acrylics, brushes, liquids, palettes, and all the necessary equipment for a small fee, or you can bring your own stuff if you prefer.
