The Plateau Jazz Band is a six-piece band, with trumpet, trombone, and clarinet, from Santa Cruz, California. They play New Orleans influenced, Preservation Hall inspired, prohibition era swinging dance jazz. Sunday, May 18, 2025, 5-7:30 pm. Pono Hawaiian Grill DTSC, 120 Union St. in downtown Santa Cruz. Free dance lesson before the show by Liz and John Alsop at 5pm. Dance or listen: 5:30-7:30 pm No cover charge.
