Oktoberfest LG
KCAT TV and Radio is hosting its 3rd annual Oktoberfest right here in Los Gatos! Enjoy a day of festivities all supporting KCAT programs & services.
NUMU staff will be tabling from 12:30-3:45 PM, so stop by to chat with us and participate in a collaborative art activity for all ages. We will be making paper puppets! Plus, museum admission will be free from 10 AM-4 PM, so be sure to stop by!

Oktoberfest Los Gatos is an annual community-wide event that raises funds for KCAT’s year-round TV, Radio, and video programs designed to educate, engage, and give a voice to hundreds of youth and teens. KCAT’s “Free 2B Me” media arts program for youth supports positive mental health and wellness; boasts a creative curriculum with no grades, no tests, and no stress; uplifts students with engaging media projects; and provides a training ground for high school and college student creators, directors, producers and counselors who mentor and teach youth. In addition, KCAT’s volunteer community of adults 55+ helps produce and run the station’s programming.
