6/18 La Toscana Cru Night
Tuscany almost speaks for itself. This verdant rolling landscape has been in the vinous forefront at least since the Medioevo. In the 13 th c, the villages of Gaiole, Castellina, and Radda formed the Lega del Chianti; wine laws were on the books by the mid 1400’s, and by the late 19 th c, Sangiovese had become the base of the modern blend.
The wines are a small tour of the region’s wines, highlighting some of the ways in which Sangiovese can present.
It is our intention with Cru Night to make extraordinary wines available to everyone, without the extra formality and expense of a fixed price dinner. We will have several specials on for the night which are specifically Tuscan.
Be sure to reserve early, as these evenings often book up early.
